My Sicilian grandmother also made rice ba...Amazing! My Sicilian grandmother also made rice balls for Saint Lucy's day. They were our family's favorite treat and we still make them once a year. I looked everywhere to find a story about Saint Lucy loosing her eyes, that's the way my grandmother told the story.
